O Android é o sistema operacional móvel da Google e vem crescendo muita rápido nos últimos meses. Se você tem um Omnia II e quer fazer um teste no sistema, agora pode ser a hora. Porém ainda está numa versão alpha mesmo e longe da versão sem bugs.
O Guia de instalação está em Inglês, quem fizer o procedimento por favor me envie em português. Como não tenho Omnia II, não deu para testar, mas o procedimento parece ser simples e fácil.

Everything in it is prepared to boot Android straight from SD Card & internal memory – no need to make linux (ext2/3) partition at all. Quick guide:
1. unpack files and put haret.exe, zImage, initrd.cpio.gz, default.txt into root directory of your Omnia’s SD Card (Storage Card)
2. put rootfs.img into root directory of your internal memory (My Storage)
3. run haret.exe and click “run”
4. you should see damn small haret’s fonts, crc checking should pass with success, haret will jump into kernel
5. now kernel is booting, many messages and logo are visible. I’ve set a 10sec delay before mounting root filesystem, so you can see message that mmcblk has been found and partitions printed out
6. any failure within kernel booting ends up with kernel panic and phone restart after 30 seconds
7. successful booting results in some long-last message and “android” animation
8. in minute or two you will see desktop
Attention! initrd.cpio.gz is prepared to boot only if you hadn’t mess up with internal memory partitions! Fifth partition is always used (mmcblk0p5).
If you are i920 owner you need to use uncompressed kernel image, try these:
1. follow my guide 1-2
2. download uncompressed kernel image from here
3. put Image file into root directory of your Omnia’s SD Card (Storage Card)
4. edit default.txt (in your phone!) file and change “set kernel zImage” to “set kernel Image” (notice – no “z” letter!)
5. follow my guide 3-8
If you have messed up with internal memory partitions, probably fith is now seventh in order. I’ve prepared special initrd.cpio.gz to handle it:
1. follow my guide 1-2
2. downlad initrd7.cpio.gz
3. put initrd7.cpio.gz into root directory of your Omnia’s SD Card (Storage Card)
4. edit default.txt (in your phone!) file and change “set initrd initrd.cpio.gz” to “set initrd initrd7.cpio.gz”
5. follow my guide 3-8
Some troubleshooting:
– if you got kernel panic, try to run haret just after reset, a few times. Haret doesn’t always works correctly
– if you got errors with mounting root filesystem then maybe you need to edit init script (from initrd.cpio.gz) yourself and change partition number
– uncompressed kernel image is less advanced than compressed one
– compressed kernel image (zImage) is the same Almar post in this thread, so do not bother me about sources
Some tips&tricks:
– to shutdown the phone just hold lock button for a few seconds
– if you’re familar with linux, you can run Terminal Emulator (DevTools) and gain root by “cd /sbin” then “./su”
– disable animations to gain speed

Vamos lá, amigos. Fiz o teste agora a pouco. É bem simples, mas que fique claro (como dito anteriormente): é uma versão alpha, da alpha da alpha. Ou seja, realmente carrega o Android, mas, nada de ligações, nada de wi-fi, nada de praticamente nada. É uma navegadinha pelo sistema e dizer: "uau. rodei Android no meu Omnia II)… rsMas vamos aos passos:1) Fazer o download do arquivo informado no site (andromnia2_alpha_pack.zip), no seu computador.2) Descompactar o os arquivos (ainda, no seu computador).3) no arquivo zip, vem 6 arquivos:default.txtharet.exeImageinitrd.cpio.gzrootfs.imgzImage4) O arquivo rootfs.img (que tem aprox. 300mb, deve ficar na raíz da memória interna do Omnia II (onde normalmente são 8gb de espaço), e não no cartão de memória, ok. Os demais arquivos, pode colocar na raízo do cartão de memória.5) Entrar no explorador de arquivos do Omnia II, e executar o arquivo haret.exe que vc colocou no cartão de memória.6) Pronto! É só aguardar o boot (normalmente em torno de 10 a 30 segundos) e o Android irá aparecer. Aguardo o boot total e navegue no sistema.Espero ter ajudado.
Como faço pra desligar o aparelho depois que entrei no android sem tirar a bateria??? rsrsrs…..
Risley,Aperte o botão de "bloqueio" do Omnia por alguns segundos, e ele desligará o celular!

como o marcel disse e muito facio testei e e bem legal mas e so para diser que um dia meu omnia 2 rodou o android porque nao tem quase nada mas espero um dia poder usar ele no meu dia a dia

Amigos, o meu Omnia II deu problema no cartão de memória… Pensei então… Tem como eu fazer isso sem colocar os dados do Cartão de memória?? Tentei colocar tudo na Memória principal e não funcionou de 1a, mas depois foi!!!Deu certinho do mesmo jeito!!!!FIKA A DICA PRA GALERA
